Wednesdays, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
For many years, Saint Thomas Aquinas Church has provided parishioners and friends the ability to spend time with Jesus in the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The practice offers adorers a special way to pray and reflect in His presence in a quiet, peaceful, and appropriate setting. People report experiencing a greater sense of intimacy with Jesus and attentiveness of mind and heart to prayer when they experience our Lord in this manner. Sitting in His Presence offers far-reaching effects. The power of prayer and reflection offers unlimited benefits to the community and those who are served by our parish family. Benediction closes the evening.
AS OF MAY 2020, THE BLESSED SACRAMENT IS PLACED IN THE REPOSITORY LOCATED IN THE FRONT WINDOW OF FATHER SULLIVAN’S PARISH OFFICE WINDOW, FACING 5TH STREET. ADORERS MAY PARK ON 5TH STREET OR STAND/SIT ON THE SIDEWALK OR FRONT LAWN OF THE PARISH CENTER TO ADORE OUR LORD. WE WILL MOVE BACK TO THE PARISH CENTER OR CHURCH ONCE IT IS DEEMED SAFE TO DO SO. BENEDICTION IS CANCELLED AT THIS TIME.
