Meet Our Staff

Father JCP Sullivan
Parish Priest
Education: M.A Philosophy and Theology, the Josephenum
I was born in Columbus and grew up on the far Eastside near Reynoldsburg, in Saint Pius X Parish. After attending Columbus Public School and graduating from Walnut Ridge High School, my studies continued at The Ohio State University and Ohio Dominican College, where the Dominican Sisters were very influential in the discernment of my vocation to priestly ministry. After college, Bishop Griffin sent me to The Catholic University of American in Washington, D.C. to study Theology in preparation for the Priesthood in the Diocese of Columbus.
I was ordained a Priest by Bishop Griffin in June 1991. My ministry experiences have included high school chaplain, Parochial Vicar, Catholic Chaplain at Children’s Hospital in Columbus, and Parish Priest. I have served on several diocesan boards and committees and been elected by the priests to represent them on the Diocesan priests’ Personnel Board. I have 20 years of experience as Parish Priest: at Saint Colman of Cloyne in Washington Court House, Saint Francis de Sales in Newark, and now at Saint Thomas Aquinas.
